The idea was derived and inspired by the Halley Comet over the night sky that delivers “the perfect amount of light for your outdoor entertaining without being glarish and overpowering.

Mieke met Arjan van Raadshooven and Anieke Branderhorst of designlabel Vij5 from a Dutch designlabel with a creation of interior products , Vij5 helped to mentor and assist the young designer in developing the idea and having the initial concept manufactured. The result was NewspaperWood ,this upcycling process gives new life to what some consider recyclable waste. The function and application of paper has been extended and can be use and form into different objects and products.

One bank in particular took the unconventional up one notch , Tokyo based architecture and design studio Emmanuelle Moureaux was commissioned to design and tranforms the architectural and design for a newly rebuilt branch outlet of Sugamo Shinkin Bank in Shimura , Tokyo Japan. The facade of the bank outlet was transformed into an array layers of colorful cantilevered roof, interiors are splashed with colorful puffs of dandelions against all white background.

The luxury nursing home with the approach of minimal and ultra modern design.p+p needed not only to highlight the important of design in buildings and living but also how these works are viewed and being appreciated on the forms , shapes and meaning behind it.Meet Fernando Guerra , an architect and also a professional architecture photographer born in Lisbon in 1970, a graduate in architecture and with his brother Sergio Guerra who takes on the business side, together they founded FG+SG in 1999. Fernando been taking photographs since he was 16 years old and has worked mainly to commission for architects. Reflecting on their believes and concept of 80% fun factor combined with 20% self expression speaks very well in their design. The animal vase which shaped in the form of rabbit comes in few different colors. Express as freely as you wanted by changing and arranging the ‘ear’ will give different outlook. It’s simple and fun! and we say “Design should be fun.”
